Now, going through with these cuts will make the world less healthy,

less safe, and less prosperous. The reduction of America's humanitarian role and influence

will run counter to American interests globally. UN officials and senior USAID leaders are warning hundreds of thousands of people

could die across the globe as President Trump cuts off funding for critical programs fighting AIDS,

malaria, polio, and more. On Wednesday, Trump suffered a setback as the Supreme Court rejected his bid to freeze

$2 billion in foreign aid.

We'll speak to a lawyer from public citizen and the head of the AIDS vaccine advocacy

coalition, which sued Trump.

Then Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Brett Murphy at Republica.

We found internal memos that were detailing the millions of lives that were at stake

and the warnings that were put in front of the Secretary of State.

Instead of heeding those warnings, the top leadership thwarted a lot of those people

inside of the agency.

We'll also speak to the South African anthropologist Catherine Mathers at Duke University.

She says the humanitarian industrial complex should be dismantled, but not by a billionaire-backed administration with no plan beyond abandonment.
