My recent election is a mandate to completely and totally reverse a horrible betrayal and all

of these many betrayals that have taken place and to give the people back their faith, their

wealth, their democracy, and indeed their freedom.

From this moment on, America's decline is over.

President Donald Trump was sworn in Monday as the nation's 47th president.

Within hours, Trump granted pardons to over 1,500 people involved in the January 6th insurrection.

Trump signed dozens of other executive orders, including withdrawing the United States from the

Paris Climate Agreement, rolling back protections for transgender people, and declaring

a national emergency on the southern border, clearing the way for deploying U.S.

troops inside the country.

First, I will declare a national emergency at our southern border.

All illegal entry will immediately be halted, and we will begin the process of returning millions and millions of criminal aliens

back to the places from which they came.

We'll look at Donald Trump's first day back in the White House as well as President

Biden's last-minute decision to commute the sentence for indigenous activist Leonard Peltier, after half a century behind bars,

he's going home.
