There is a potential for a much stronger escalation and that is what concerns me the possibility of

transforming Lebanon in another Gaza which I think would be a devastating tragedy

for the world.

Monday's death toll from Israel's massive aerial bombardment of Lebanon has risen to over 550 people, including over 50 children, the deadliest single day in Lebanon

in nearly two decades.

Tens of thousands of civilians are displaced, now sleeping in schools and makeshift shelters.

We'll go to Beirut for the latest.

Then as world leaders gather here in New York to address the UN General Assembly,

Activists Kickoff Climate Week with a direct action to shut down Citibank.

There were 31 arrests. Citibank, there were 31 arrests, Citibank one of the largest funders of fossil fuel

expansion.

We are here to shut it down during Climate Week because we know a better future is possible.

We do not need to be investing in fossil fuels.
