I spent the past 22 years in the Air Force and during those 22 years, although I didn't agree with all the policies

I hope that hopefully one day as a Palestinian American I can make an impact using my voice

because I wanted that to be that representation for the Palestinian people

within the military community.

I just never expected it to come at a time where we're watching the indiscriminate killing of 38,000 Palestinians,

including some being my family members.

As Israel's war on Gaza enters its 10th month,

we'll speak with a Palestinian American who ended a 22 year career

in the US Air Force after an Israeli airstrike in Gaza killed his aunt.

First Sergeant Mohammed Abuheshen

is the first known person to resign

from the US military or government

who had a direct connection to Israel's war on Gaza.

Then we'll talk to investigative journalist Jeremy Sgehill,

who recently spoke to senior Hamas officials

about the ongoing ceasefire negotiations and the group's broader goals.

From Hamas's perspective, they've waged a guerrilla insurgency for nine months against Israel

that has exposed not only Israel's brutality, but its weaknesses.

And now you have a situation where Netnjahu has been unable to free almost any hostages
