fear could trigger a broader regional war, the U.S. and Britain bombed Yemen repeatedly last night.

This represents in escalation to the ongoing war in Yemen, which started in 2015.

The U.S. had been bombing Yemen essentially through Saudi Arabia and the UAE, but of course the causes are different the reasons are different this time, but it represents the same policy of escalation and resorting to bombing rather than ceasefire

and diplomacy.
