As small aid convoys of trucks begin entering Gaza.

The United Nations is calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire and for far more aid

to be allowed into Gaza where the death toll from Israel's 17-day

bombardment has topped 5,000 including over 2,000 children. Many in Gaza say they've run out of food, water, and fuel.

Does it make sense that 20 trucks will be distributed to 2,100,000 residents?

As the United States refuses to push for a humanitarian ceasefire,

we'll speak to the Gaza-born Palestinian scholar jihad Abu Salim of the Jerusalem
