The plaintiffs invited this Supreme Court to not only strike down Iqbal, but could gut

the legal foundation of tribal sovereignty and yesterday in a stunning defeat for the plaintiffs,

but the Supreme Court said no.

In a surprise decision, the Supreme Court votes to uphold the Indian Child Welfare Act

in a major victory for tribal sovereignty.

We'll get the latest, then go to Montana, where calls are growing for authorities to investigate

the death of Micah Westwolf, a 22-year-old Indigenous woman who died after being hit by a car

driven by a suspected white nationalist whose children are named Aryan and Nation.

Then we talk to Democratic Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland.

He's calling on the Biden administration to declassify its report on the death of Palestinian

American journalist Shireen Abouakla, who was shot dead by an Israeli soldier.

And we look at the black maternal health crisis following the tragic death of Olympic track

and field star Tori Buie, who died last month, home alone, after going into labor.
