A New York jury unanimously found former President Donald Trump liable for the sexual abuse and defamation of writer E. Jean Carroll awarding her five million dollars in damages.

The jury, however, rejected a rape charge during the trial. Carroll recounted her sexual assault by Trump in the dressing room of Bergdorf Goodman in the 1990s.
