The court should have a code of conduct with clear and enforceable rules, so both justices

and the American people know when conduct crosses the line.

Those are growing for Supreme Court justices to have a code of ethics following recent

disclosures about the secretive financial dealings of Clarence Thomas Neil Gorsuch and

the wife of Chief Justice John Roberts.

The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing Tuesday but Roberts refused to testify.

We'll get the latest.

Then to the growing debate in Washington over raising the debt ceiling.

Over 200 years, America's never ever ever failed to pay its debt.

To put in the capital and in colonial terms, America is not a debt-beat nation.

We'll speak to the economist James K. Galbrae.

He says the debate over the debt ceiling is a ruse and a tram but it could have dangerous

consequences if Republicans push through sweeping spending cuts.

Biden and Texas authorities have caught a man accused of using an AR-15 to shoot dead

five of his neighbors, including a nine-year-old boy.

Instead of calling for gun reform, Texas Governor Greg Abbott dehumanized the victims by referring

to the debt as illegal immigrants.
