0:31.1	I'm Mark Holgate, the fashion features director of American Vogue.
0:35.6	I hesitated there because they changed my title recently. I'm
0:38.5	Ali Mitchell Copelman. I'm director of fashion initiatives. Okay. What does that mean,
0:43.4	Ali? Because it's a little opaque. So I work on a lot of special fashion projects that we have here
0:48.3	at Vogue, one of which is the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund. Right. And I think if you could explain
0:53.7	a little bit about what the CBFF is.
0:57.5	Sure. So the CFDA is the Council of Fashion Designers of America. It's a not-for-profit
1:03.6	organization dedicated to fostering American designers in a global economy. There's also a membership
1:10.4	program consisting of over 450
1:12.7	ready-to-wear accessories and jewelry designers, and they operate separately from us, but we work
1:18.6	in tandem with them on the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund. So when people talk, it's sort of sometimes
1:24.2	can be confusing with acronyms. CFDA is Council Fashion Science for America.
