Well, it has been more than 60 years since the death of Senator Joseph McCarthy,

journalist Larry Tai sees many parallels between his rapid political rise and methods and how President Trump governs. Larry Tai joins us to talk about his new biography of McCarthy, Demagogue,

the life and long shadow of Senator Joe McCarthy. The book draws on newly revealed private correspondence and military records

to provide a fuller picture of the senator and his infamous methods.
