As the first planes carrying Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine took off on Sunday morning from Michigan,

There's no doubt about it.

It's a historic moment and for people like Vicki,

the vaccine finally brings some hope at the end of this difficult year.

The first shots of the COVID-19 vaccine were administered yesterday.

In New York, critical care nurse Sandra Lindsay of Northwell Health was the first in the state,

possible in the entire country to get the vaccine today.

And by tomorrow, nearly three million doses of Pfizer's COVID-19 vaccine will have been

delivered to more than 600 vaccination sites around the country.

By spring, as many as a hundred million doses, it is a complicated mind-boggling logistical

challenge and it's also one of the most important in history.
