What's up everybody? Welcome into the next Pat's podcast. I'm Phil Perry. It's the end of a very busy week here in New England. The Patriots spending a lot of money, adding some big names, though not as many big names as maybe they would like.

There was one big name release this week, and there are lots and lots of questions,

not only about what happened with David Andrews, but everything else happening with the Patriots right now.

So we're going to commit today's podcast to a good old-fashioned mailback and try to answer as many of those questions as humanly possible.

We're also going to hear from Rhett Lewis, the great Rette Lewis, formerly of WHDH here in Boston,

now of NFL Network, now one of the greatest minds we have when it comes to the NFL draft,

and he was at the NFL Scouting Combine, and Rhett pays attention as well as anyone. He is tracking all the details. He is tracking all the players, day one, day two, day three. He is all over it when it comes to the draft. And so we had a chance to speak with him at the combine. And so we're going to lay that interview on you at the end of this podcast. So we're going to talk about offensive line. We're going to talk about the types of players. Mike Frable wants. There is going to be some Will Campbell conversation. Will Campbell. Who to thunk? Lightning Rod. The pre-draft process in 2025 here in his arm length. And whether or not he's going to be able to actually play tackle at the NFL level. If you read my story with Dante Scarnacchio from late last week,

you know that the godfather of offensive line play,

the Patriots Hall of Famer himself, arguably the greatest,

not only offensive line coach, but maybe assistant football coach of all time.

Is he in that conversation?

I think he is. I think he's gold jacket worthy, never mind red jacket worthy.

Be that as it may. Arm length, not a deal breaker for him. So should it be for us?

We're going to talk plenty about the draft with Rhett.

And we're going to get to some draft questions as well when we get into our mailbag.
