What's up friends, Tyler Staten sitting here with John Thompson, a new friend of mine from

Sanctus Church in Toronto, Canada.

This is a follow-up podcast from a deliverance workshop that he led for us last night,

at least last night, as of the moment that we're actually talking now, probably not last

night as of the moment that you listen to this.

So first, I do want to say that if you are tuning into this podcast and you have not heard

the two teachings on deliverance ministry that he did to our church, stop listening to

this now, go back and listen to or watch those firsts, they're both available on our

podcast feed and on our website, and then come back to this because this is meant to be

a follow-up conversation from that.

But if you have taken in those teachings, as a reminder, John taught last night first

on defining what demonization is, biblically, and giving us a baseline theological foundation

for understanding what on earth is happening in the gospel accounts when Jesus is casting

out demons.

What on earth is going on in the New Testament letters when the Apostle Paul continues

to write about battles that we have with principalities and powers and forces and darkness

and why is it that the church is largely silent on something that the scripture is quite

loud on.

And then a second teaching on spiritual gifts because if we're actually going to work

this out, if we're actually going to have deliverance ministries in our churches and

practice this ministry in a responsible and biblical way, then we've got to understand

spiritual gifts and their role in actually taking up this battle against principalities
