| 0:00.0 | Welcome to our daily rotary meditation. Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. |
| 0:05.0 | Amen. Let's call to mind all those we've promised to pray for. |
| 0:09.0 | In the book of Revelation, John is a vision of a great dragon, the ancient enemy, Satan. |
| 0:17.0 | This demon attempted to make war on the woman, clothed with the son, the mother of the king of kings. |
| 0:24.5 | Satan wanted Mary. |
| 0:26.0 | He wanted to enslave her, as he had enslaved the rest of humanity. |
| 0:31.9 | He wanted to kill her as he had killed all her ancestors. |
| 0:37.3 | But God would not permit it. |
| 0:39.5 | God kept the woman free from all sin, |
| 0:42.2 | and so free from the dragon's enslavement. |
| 0:47.1 | And then God ordained that the woman should be assumed into heaven |
| 0:51.6 | and should not be subject to the corruption of the dragon's death. |
| 0:58.2 | What was left then for the dragon to do? The book of Revelation says, |
| 1:04.3 | Then the dragon became angry with the woman and went off to wage war on the rest of her offspring. |
| 1:13.2 | Those who keep the commandments and bear witness to Jesus. |
| 1:18.4 | When the dragon failed at Mary, he came for us. |
| 1:23.6 | He failed to enslave or kill the woman. |
| 1:27.2 | He comes at us now, seeking to enslave or kill the woman. He comes at us now, seeking to enslave and kill us, her children. |
| 1:35.1 | And that's why we end the Our Father saying, |
| 1:38.6 | Deliver us from evil. |
| 1:43.8 | Our Father, who art in heaven, |
| 1:45.7 | hallow it be your name. |
