Colorado football has announced they will be retiring the number 12 and number two jersey of Travis Hunter and Chatur Sanders during their spring game coming up this Saturday.

Now, I get there some people that don't

understand why you would retire either one of these guys' jerseys are really what it takes

to retire a jersey or, as Colorado football put it, now those numbers are untouchable, which

seems to say that nobody can ever wear the number two or 12 again. But at the end of the day, guys,

where I fall on it is it's their program, it's their party, they can cry if they want to.

Travis Hunter won the Heisman, right? I can understand why you'd retire a guy's jersey that won

the Heisman. That makes sense to me. The Shadur Sanders one, I know he holds records.

I know he was huge in helping turn this program, making them relevant once again.

But did he do enough outside of just being Dion Sanders' son, especially when you compare it to what Travis Hunter did, winning the Heisman to have his jersey number retired as well.

Cohn, where do you stand on this?

Because it seems you're either in one of two camps.

This is awesome.

They deserve it.
