Summary

New Discourses Bullets, Ep. 80 Entryism (https://newdiscourses.com/2023/12/communist-entryism/) is the idea of infiltrating an institution with hostile subversives. It's a name for a variety of strategies for getting them in where they're not wanted. DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs achieve an entryist goal through an indirect method that involves a bit of randomness. That is, they're stochastic entryism. The way they work is to increase the probability of hiring people who are activists or who can be made activists through further training without intentionally selecting for activists in a direct way. This maintains plausible deniability about the goal of the program. Simultaneously, it pushes people who reject the Woke Marxist ideology out, but again, apparently at random. In this episode of New Discourses Bullets, host James Lindsay breaks down how DEI initiatives and programs achieve stochastic entryism for Woke Marxist activists and how this is the real goal of those programs. Hey everybody this is James Lindsay you're listening to new discourse's bullets

0:14.4

where I have a short kind of bullet point summary of a single topic from woke

0:17.9

Marxism that we need to understand so that we can defeat it and today's topic is a little more complicated.

0:23.6

I want to talk about the purpose of DEI,

0:25.6

diversity equity and inclusion programs and initiatives.

0:28.7

I want to actually talk about how they work.

0:31.0

And it's a little bit complicated. It's easy to go through and say well

0:35.0

diversity means this and equity means that and we can cover that but to

0:39.8

understand how it works is a little actually sophisticated. It's a pretty cleverly designed

0:45.8

trick and I want to kind of walk through that. The concept behind the EI, and I mentioned this in a recent episode is entryism.

0:57.0

Entriism is this idea that you're going to enter into an infiltrate an institution

1:02.0

and kind of transform it from within and that is a communist

1:06.5

tactic or generally an ideological tactic if you want to try to take over an institution

1:11.5

that's not going to welcome you.

1:14.0

But DEI isn't directly in triism.

1:17.2

We could give the example, a very simple example,

1:20.1

that they say defund the police and a bunch of police leave and they make it miserable to be a cops,

1:24.4

a bunch of cops leave, and then they institute a DEI hiring policy and so now they hire according to

1:30.3

DEI compliance and when they hire in new cops in the future to to

1:35.0

to make up for the shortfalls in the rise in crime or whatever else,

1:38.0

then they're going to hire ideologically compliant

1:42.0

D.E.I. people because of the DEI policy,
