What was a really interesting thing you did on News Night this week then?

The week started, funny enough, 24 hours earlier, Sunday afternoon,

of suddenly at home thinking, is it time for a drink yet? And I get a call saying,

we've got an interview with Rahim Sterling.

So we sort of bundle from 0 to 100 in about 10 minutes and dashed into work and we had an interview with Raymond Sterling, the Man City attacking midfielder, I suppose some would say.

And he had an awful lot to get off his chest. He'd been following the Black Lives Matters

protest and he just wanted to talk about the areas of systemic racism that had really impacted on the world he knew and it was

astonishing just to hear him being really forthright and coming up with just a whole new plan.

We have no representation of us in the hierarchy,

no representations of us, you know, in coaching staff is coaching staffs.

There's not a lot of faces that we can you know relate to and

you know have conversations with and I do think you know with these protests that are

going on you know it's all well well and good you know just

talking but it's time that we need to know have conversations to be able to

spark debates and not just debates because we've done a lot of talking to

actually start you know implementing change and we're all talking about this new phrase

Defund the police

So weird isn't it the funding dismantling abolishing abolishing reimag, all these words are being used and we don't actually know what it means.
