Jordan Alvarez just got hurt again,

just fitting epitaph to the people who had him in fantasy leagues this season,

you know, stepping on home plate of all things is how he got hurt this guy.

It's true.

It does seem to happen every once in a while. Like, you can name a few over the years that get hurt stepping on home plate. Yeah, just a frustrating year for anyone who had Alvarez in their league. We'll see. It's the Astros, so we'll see. It's a sprained ankle. Okay, sure it is. You know, we'll see. It probably is, but we'll see how long he's out for. Sorry. But as far as fantasy owners, I would assume a lot of Alvarez teams are already not going to win their league. But there's a lot of depth of fantasy baseball. There are probably some people who managed to work around it it and he was playing great in september so if you manage to dance around this injury for months

in september he was hitting 392 uh with uh 1,035 oPS so you know you lost out on a couple weeks of

production from him you're kind of used to it by now.

In the playoff hunt, though, we'll see this could cost Houston.

We'll see the division or we'll see maybe making the playoffs altogether.

You still won last night, head-to-head against the Rangers.

Pretty big win as far as that goes.

My question to you, and we were talking a little bit of this on Twitter, Dave McDonald

was chiming in along with, sorry, Mike Virginia also.

I want to make sure I attribute everything.

What do you do with them next year?

What do you, how, say it's a 15-team league, the NF, we'll say NFBC style league, because that usually

seems like to be our starting point for these discussions.

So no trades, no IL spots.

How far does he have to drop before you're willing to draft, Jordan Alvarez?

For me, probably not that far.
