| 0:00.0 | Welcome to the intersection of faith and culture. |
| 0:09.0 | Thanks for joining us today on the Wall Builders show, taking on the hot topics of the day from a biblical, historical and constitutional perspective. |
| 0:15.0 | It's the day after Memorial Day. Just once again, I want to say how much we appreciate all those who paid the |
| 0:21.3 | ultimate price so that we can even be free to speak our minds on the show today. I hope everyone |
| 0:26.4 | had a wonderful Memorial Day and that you had a good conversation with your family about the |
| 0:30.7 | sacrifice it took to make this freedom possible and then our duty to have an increased devotion |
| 0:36.5 | to the cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion. |
| 0:39.8 | Of course, that's what we talk about a lot here on Walblers is the things we can do to increase our devotion and to do a better job of preserving that freedom and passing it to the next generation. |
| 0:48.3 | David and Tim Barton here. |
| 0:49.7 | I'm Rick Green. |
| 0:50.3 | David, Tim, man, we got a great topic today for exactly that increase in our devotion, |

| 1:04.6 | should be the one making those big decisions. Actually, I shouldn't say it that way, all those |
| 1:08.1 | decisions for the children. Well, you know, parental rights has been a deal since the very beginning. It goes back to the laws |
| 1:14.8 | of nature, nature is God. You don't need the Constitution. You don't need a Bible to show that. |
| 1:19.5 | All you need is to see what the Declaration referred to is the laws of nature. And so the laws of nature, |
| 1:24.7 | you see that parental right, the way that animals have the authority |
| 1:29.2 | over their children, and they can sometimes have that in groups, you know, you have cattle, |
| 1:34.0 | herds, whatever, but there's still one mama, one daddy, and they're the ones that have that say. |
| 1:39.6 | And so that's part of the laws of nature. Now, it's also something that's biblical as well, |
| 1:43.7 | very clearly biblical. |
