We have Fred Wellman Executive Director of the Lincoln Project on our podcast today.

And in addition to leading the Lincoln Project right now served in the United States Army

for 22 years as an aviator and public affairs officer, including four combat tours over

Operation Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom after his career in the Army Fred served in the

private sector helping service members before joining the Lincoln Project and their veterans

affairs department before becoming executive director.

I actually went to my first vaccinated party over the weekend, which was an experience for

me actually seeing people and literally anybody who was unvaccinated or did not believe

in the vaccines was not allowed to show up, which I loved.

They were rejected.

Fantastic.

I saw a photos of that party.

I'll tell you the truth.

I don't know if I've developed like a social phobia be at home or maybe I just don't like

parties in general, but just seeing all those people together like at a party like that.

I kind of thought to myself, I'm like, what's the point of this?
