I want to thank you all for coming out to our press conference here at Netflix.

We have an exciting new show that is going to be coming out this week called Dear White

People.

Now I know what you're thinking, controversial name, but guess what guys this is going

to be amazing.

I know in the heat of all this controversy in regard to Black Lives Matter and Black

versus White and all the race relations, those issues that we're experiencing in America,

it's more important now than ever to uplift Black voices.

And that's what we're going to do with this Dear White People show.

We are going to address the Black voices, elevate them, and truly talk about the Black

experience in America.

Now I'm going to leave somebody else to it.

I'm going to have our show runner come and talk about this show.

We're very excited about this new show.

White people have just had the stage for far too long.

They've been pulling the strings and controlling everything behind everything and just been

able to get their voice heard.

It's time to allow Black voices to step in and Black perspectives to be heard and put

a spotlight on the Black experience.
