| 0:00.0 | Welcome to Defenders, the teaching class of Dr. William Lane Craig. For more information and resources from Dr. Craig, go to reasonable faith.org. |
| 0:11.6 | Today, we reach something of a milestone. We come to the end of our Defender's course. It's taken us about seven years to get to this point, but now we cross the |
| 0:24.6 | finish line. So it's with a sense of nostalgia as well as satisfaction that we finally reach |
| 0:32.8 | the end of our course. In the final two lessons, I want to say a few words about the class by way of |
| 0:42.0 | reflection and retrospect as we close. The very first purpose of the Defender's class, |
| 0:50.8 | if you look at our purpose statement, is the following. To train Christians to understand, |

| 2:09.3 | In this class, I've tried to show you how to express these doctrines in an accurate way that |
| 2:16.2 | will communicate them to the people that you want to talk with. |
| 2:20.3 | I hope that some of you will take the opportunity to become teachers yourselves |
| 2:27.3 | and to lead a Bible study group or a Sunday school class where you will be teaching this material to others. |
| 2:37.7 | Finally, we've aimed also to defend these doctrines. As we've surveyed Christian doctrine from the |
| 2:46.9 | doctrine of Revelation to the doctrine of the last things, we've looked at how one might |
| 2:53.3 | defend these doctrines, what arguments and evidence might be given in support of these various |
