0:42.6	James and I'm grateful you're joining me tonight for our story titled defender of my
0:49.1	battles there isn't a single battle this side of heaven that isn't seen by our father in heaven.
0:58.2	Whether it be a physical, emotional, or spiritual battle, you can trust God to defend you
1:05.2	against everything that comes against you. Tonight's story will revolve around the promise from Psalm 18, verse 39, when David sang
1:18.1	these words, You armed me with strength for battle. You humbled my adversaries before me.
1:27.9	In this comforting passage, David recalled the mighty waves God came to his rescue
1:34.2	and strengthened him when he needed it most.
1:39.4	I pray this story will be comforting to you, no matter what challenge you are facing tonight.
1:47.0	Please let me remind you that God doesn't expect you to navigate this life alone or to work things out in your own strength.
1:57.0	But instead, he equips you for every battle on the horizon picture the horizon
2:05.6	now the peaceful glow of sunset illuminating the sky with brilliant colors of
