Juan Howard, from other assistants, from the players, and that very much is the case. And each and

every player on this roster is prepared, is ready to go out there and play. But it's one thing

to be within the white lines, to be able to be one of the 10 players on the floor. It's another

thing to actually assume a new role, a tweaked role, a more important

role. While Michigan did not have Musa Diabate at Nebraska on Tuesday night, Wolverines were

without one of their best players. He had been tremendous, but Musa battling a non-COVID

related illness, he did not make the trip. As a result, we saw the return of Brandon John's

Jr. into the starting lineup,

and we saw more responsibility thrust onto Terrence Williams II, and both more than delivered.

They were ready not just to play, but to excel.

Brandon first.

He had seven points before the first media timeout.

He was as good as we saw him, probably even better, in that incredible run last year in

the postseason when Isaiah Livers got injured.

John's finished with 20 points tying a career high, which he had against Rutgers at Madison

Square Garden back in February of 2020.

So Johns delivers that.

And then you have Terrence Williams the second. He had a career

high of 15 coming in. He drops 22 in the ballgame, nine of 12 from the floor and just a

remarkable performance from him. And really, it was wave upon wave of productivity, of success,
