The score of an exhibition basketball game is irrelevant in pretty much any circumstance,

0:04.3

but on Friday night at Wayne State, I'd be surprised if anyone remembered the final.

0:08.1

It was as irrelevant as can be.

0:10.3

By the way, it was 87-54 Michigan.

0:12.8

But for both sides, this was important for other reasons.

1:10.7

It was an exhibition basketball game.

1:12.5

It really was a 40-minute celebration of what will be a special place for a really good program

1:18.4

in an awesome community with a tremendous university.

1:22.0

So that's why the score doesn't really matter at all to the Warriors fans.

1:25.7

For Michigan, at least from my perspective,

1:27.8

this was the return of some normalcy. It was a chance for real-life people in the flesh,

1:33.4

not on a computer screen or a Zoom monitor or a cardboard cutout to be on hand to witness
