After a game with so many twists and turns, we can go in a lot of different directions,

and we will here on this episode, reaction from the locker room, Terry Mills, all of that to come.

I'll start with three things.

Number one, that was really fun college basketball.

Two top five teams, great atmosphere, and two clubs who have designs on big, big things,

finding ways Nebraska, despite some

injuries and illness, Michigan, despite some big-time mistakes in 19 turnovers, Wolverines

end up winning a game where they trailed for more than 36 game minutes.

Secondly, Michigan had some games early this year where I do think they might

have played to the level of competition. They may have allowed an absence or two to prevent them

from playing their best. Penn State on the road, no Caden Mingo. Michigan played really poorly

and we're fortunate to get out of there with a victory. Even out of Oregon, the first half, Michigan struggled, even though the Ducks were without Nate Biddle and Jackson, Shellstab. I know Nebraska was shorthanded, didn't have Braden Frager for a second consecutive game, talented redshirt freshman who averages 12 points a ballgame. They also did not have Rink Mast, who's one of the best players,

I think, in the Big Ten, and adds so much to this team, even though over the last four games,

he'd been struggling. He did not have nearly the numbers or the efficiency or the shooting success

he had had. But the way Nebraska played, and the way that Fred Hoyberg and company coached,

this was a high-level Nebraska team.

Were they maybe 20 and 0 top 5?

No, they weren't full throttle.

They didn't have everything.

If Michigan and Nebraska plays again, and both teams are at full strength, it would be a different game.

Michigan would have a steeper challenge.

But I don't know how much of a difference it made in terms of just how well Nebraska played
