At one point during Friday night's radio broadcast, I said Michigan is inevitable.

And that may not always be the case.

Michigan, only 13 games in, a lot of really tough challenges to come.

But when you look at how this game played out, USC came in as the top free throw shooting team in the country in terms of attempts, makes great.

Michigan made seven more, took six more free throws than USC in this ballgame.

Michigan had the actual end to board only play four second half minutes with a bruised calf.

Seems like shouldn't be a long-term thing based on what Dusty May said in his post-game press

conference that he could have been able to come back in.

Michigan lost Namari Burnett to a friendly fire with Roddy Gale Jr.

We'll talk about that with Namari a little bit later on the podcast.

And speaking of Roddy Gail Jr., he had a

pretty early exit in this one. He fouled out at the 710 mark. Yet, it just kept chugging along.

Michigan kept cruising. They had different lineups out there. Dymara didn't play a ton in the first

half with two fouls yet.

It was the likes of Will Cheddar with 10 points.

LJ. Kaysen continues to shine.

He shot 50% from 3 since the start of December.

Another 10-point performance for Trey McKinney, Michigan's leading three-point hitter in terms of overall makes.

It's just remarkable how inevitable this team has been.

Now, that does not guarantee it for the next three months by any stretch,

but this Michigan team is able to absorb whatever another team does and oftentimes do it better.

But more times than not, it does seem to come down to at least one big-time individual performance,
