During the offseason on the Michigan-made series covering Michigan men's basketball,

Dusty May talked about with his team the box score from the Big Ten tournament championship game against Wisconsin. And if you go back and look at that score and that game,

there weren't really any players who had a box score that you would look at without any

other context and say, wow, what a great game.

But Michigan won a championship that day.

They won at 59-53 in ugly fashion, but they were champions on that Sunday afternoon in Indianapolis.

Early on this season, there were some wonders about Yaxel Lendiborg's box score because

he stuffed the stat sheet in his two seasons at UAB and his three Jucco campaigns before that.

We hadn't quite seen those types of box scores yet. But then, against Middle Tennessee, on Wednesday night, we started to see a box score that stood out from all the rest. He had a pretty sizable double double, 25 points, 12 rebounds. Oh, just his 87th career double-double collegiately.

But you also see the rest of the box score.

No other Wolverine had more than 10 points.

No other Wolverine played more than 26 minutes, and only one played north of 21.

That was Mores Johnson Jr.
