We've got a special treat for you. It's a little bit of a later Tuesday release to defend the block,

but that's because I just got back from Michigan Women's Basketball Media Day here in Ann Arbor.

And while plenty of the Wolverines got big time questions about a highly anticipated season.

Kim Barnes-Zarico spoke. All the players were available.

There's a lot of excitement, and I encourage you to check out all the coverage in the days that follow from that day, but like we do with the men's basketball team,

we had a little bit of fun, mix it up a little bit, talked a little basketball, but mostly

about the players, get to know them a little bit, some fun questions, and it's one of our

favorite episodes of the year.

It also marks the conclusion of our off-season coverage.

It's post-game editions, most of the rest of the way here coming up.

On the men's side, as the Wolverines finish their exhibition season, with a win over St.

Johns, you can get that recap if you were locked in on football on Saturday here on the podcast

feed.

The women take on Kinesis coming up on November 4th at 7 o'clock.

That is the opener.

So one week from when this comes out, Michigan opens up a big season for the program

as they'll get Kinesias and then Harvard at home a week from Sunday before

going down to Detroit to take on Notre Dame part of a pretty massive non-conference schedule.

And of course, the Big Ten absolutely loaded.

This is going to be a challenging schedule, one that tests Michigan women's hoops,

but one that this program has earned, one that tests Michigan women's hoops,

but one that this program has earned, one that they are ready for.
