If you follow Michigan recruiting at all, you knew about the name Trey McKinney early on.

Proudly a Flint native, McKinney has been a Wolverines fan since birth.

His grandparents both attended the University of Michigan.

His aunt was the first woman from Flint to play professional basketball,
