Some more important than others, but there is a lot that goes into it.

Now, for Lorenzo L.J. Kaysen, one factor remained much more important than the others,

and that was his relationship with Dusty May.

And that encountered several potential forks in the road, none of which, during the recruiting

process, tempted Kaysen to make a different turn away from Dusty.

First, a breakout summer between his junior and senior years of high school, when Kaysen really

run to the final four. The style of play is very recruitable. And certainly the staff beyond

Dusty May. He, L.J. and Kyle Church are very close. That helped to keep the commitment strong, too.

But then a second fork in the road. Dusty May leaves Florida Atlantic and goes to

Michigan. Cason, Florida native. He was released from his NLI with the Owls. And the process of

going from his home state, going from the beach to Michigan, began and did so quickly again because of

that relationship. And sure enough, here's L.J.
