So that I don't bury the lead, I'll just say this. The start of that game was rough.

Michigan got blitz from the start. As Saudi Washington told us at halftime, Nebraska set the

temperature in this game, and the Wolverines basically spent the final 35 minutes or so just trying

to turn things down, not completely stifle it.

This was a game of what looked very easy versus what looked very difficult.

And that's really how Nebraska season has been at home and how Michigan season has been pretty much overall.

The Huskers got everything that they wanted early and often in this game, surging out to a lead as great as 30 at one point

with 521 to play in the first half.

Then Michigan scratched and clawed just to make it somewhat competitive at one point

getting it to about 15 in the second half before Nebraska ended up winning by 20.

But the ease with which Nebraska dominated offensively, Kesey Tominaga, leading score,

19 points, 8 of 14 from the floor, had a couple of heat check threes in his 15 point first half.

The duo of Rink Mast and Josiah Alec combined for 27 points, 14 rebounds, and

nine assists. They dictated the terms even more so than Tomi Naga on both ends of the

floor, making everything difficult for Michigan. The Wolverines shot 32% in both halves. They were

8 of 24 from downtown.

Olivier Kamwa had 10 rebounds, double digits for a second straight game, but he was one of 10 shooting.

He consistently dealt with double teams.

Even on some of his fadeaway jumpers, there were two hands near the basketball and the follow-through.

Terris Reed Jr. contended with double teams on a regular basis as part of his

9.9 rebound performance.
