And before we get into that, instead of doing my normal open here, we've got plenty of great

stuff with Coach RICO.

Don't want to tease any of that.

Just some status updates.

I'll look ahead to our transition from the offseason mode

of every Tuesday having an addition of Defend the Block waiting for you to the in-season mode.

If you're new around here, or if you are a loyal listener from the start of Defend the Block back

in 2020, thanks for listening. And what we do, once we get into the season,

is bring you post-game editions of every men's game and select women's games. We'll also

try to sprinkle in some special episodes here and there as time and as the schedules permit.

But Michigan, men's and women's basketball will be starting up here very soon.

And so that you can kind of be cognizant of what's to come, you should expect plenty more

Michigan men's basketball coverage coming out this week because it is Media Day locally

for the men's program. The day that this episode is coming out, Tuesday, October

the 17th. So there will be plenty of some local coverage from all the outstanding

reporters and outlets that cover Michigan men's basketball. The women's local media day is coming

up this Monday. It is October the 23rd. So, yeah, there's been plenty discussed about

what the expectations are from a national standpoint for men's and women's basketball here

at the University of Michigan. You'll get some local flavor, and every player on the men's side
