Summary

Skeptics used to just doubt that hell existed. Today, skeptics question whether a good God would send people to hell. In this episode, Robert looks at the idea of God’s judgment and how Christians can show a skeptical world that God’s judgement is in fact good news.

Thank you for your support, and we hope you enjoyed this episode of every square inch. Greetings everyone. My name is Robert Cunningham. And last week we introduced a new series addressing what I am calling defeater ethics. I am not going to rehash that for us, but essentially what I

1:12.8

argued was that when it comes to objections to the Christian faith, defeater ethics have risen

1:53.5

I said last week to our youth. Now, most of these are going to be problems people have with

1:58.7

Christians themselves. But there are a few

2:01.7

defeater ethics that I think are about the God Christians worship. I said in the introductory

2:07.6

podcast that people are not wrestling with the title of Tim Keller's famous apologetic book,

2:12.7

The Reason for God, as much as they are wrestling with the goodness of God. Now, a lot of their struggles with God's goodness are actually wrestling with the goodness of God.

2:21.7

Now, a lot of their struggles with God's goodness are actually struggles with the goodness of God's people that they then project upon our God, understandably so.
