Hey folks, Aaron here. Welcome back to another edition of Deeper lore, a bonus episode that's designed to serve as a topical guide to the most recent episode of lore.

In this short bonus episode, I'm going to dig into our archive of 11 plus years of topics and point out some old episodes that fit well with this week's newest.

And my hope is that you can keep this spooky feeling going well into the weekend,

putting a handful of old episodes into a new, more powerful context.

So let's get started.

This week for episode 308, without a trace,

we took a long walk on the historic trail known as the Not Just Trace. But while this one

specific location in the South is full of twists and turns, both literal and metaphorical,

it's not the first time that we've explored the lore of the South. So here are three older episodes

that should pair up nicely with this week's new one.

First up, episode 40, everything floats.

You cannot talk about the folklore of the South without discussing New Orleans, and this classic lore episode is a great primer on the Big Easy.
