Today we have another of our Deep Trouble series. Deep Trouble is an exclusive series found only here on

adventure writer radio. Deep Trouble is stories about or stories from riders that have experienced

breakdowns being lost to had injuries

catastrophes any issues that have led them into deep trouble now of course no one

wants to ride into deep trouble but if there was no threat to dodge, no line in the sand to skirt, no precipitous

edge to approach, there would of course be no adventure.

And because adventure lives in the gray zone between safety and danger,

it's all about riding that gray zone, your gray zone, whatever that is.

And our Deep Trouble series is all about helping you ride in that gray zone without crossing into danger,

by hearing stories of those who have fallen into trouble, struggled, and returned with

lessons for all of us on how to avoid deep trouble and even how to deal with it should you find yourself

in deep trouble. On this episode, Chris Horrens needed a break from work, So he and his riding buddy

decided to fly to Park City, Utah.

They would rent motorcycles from a rental company.

This is one that Chris's friend had used before.

The company would supply them with some GPS tracks and places to explore,

some routes to go, and the riding would be day trips. So they picked up their bikes, they looked at the

GPS tracks and chose one that appeared to sort of suit the day and off the road.

With the GPS tracks supplied from a reliable source, how could they go wrong?
