Today we have another of our Deep Trouble series. Deep Trouble is an exclusive series found only here on Adventure Rider Radio.

Deep Trouble is stories from riders that have experienced breakdowns, being lost, catastrophes, injuries, and other issues that have led them into deep trouble.

And of course, no one really wants to be in trouble. But if there was no threat to dodge, no line in the sand to skirt,

no precipitous edge to approach, there would be no adventure.

And because that adventure lives in the gray zone, the gray zone between safety and danger,

it's all about riding the gray zone, your gray zone, whatever that is. And our deep trouble

series is about helping you ride the gray zone without crossing into danger. We do this by hearing

stories of those who have fallen into trouble, struggled and returned with lessons for all of us,

and how to avoid deep trouble. Or if you do find yourself in a situation, tips, ideas, and

tricks that may help you. And on this episode of Deep Trouble, Doug Osterhouse makes really kind of

one small mistake in the sand and everything grinds to a halt. But surrounding that one small

mistake or just a whole bunch of other factors that could

have changed the outcome one way or another, and that's really our focus today on deep trouble.
