Welcome to Washington. Do you see this alternate universe? Yes, it is, isn't it? The swamp.

It is. I have admired you for a long time, and I first got to know your work early on with the

Hunter Biden investigation that you did.

And I think if I hadn't read your report and marveled at how it had been ignored and

kind of downplayed by the New York Times,

etc.

And, you know, I was kind of only been here a year and I couldn't understand why such a

bombshell story about the family of one of the candidates could be ignored.

But now, of course, we're older and wiser and we know. But you must look back

at your Hunter Biden investigations and realize now that you were so on top of it, you were right,

you were prescient. And yet you were sort of powerless to do anything to stop Joe Biden from

becoming president.

So you understated the complicity of the media when you said they downplayed our report.

Right.

They called a Russian disinformation.

Yeah.

You know, that's because our ranking members, Democratic ranking members,

Ron Wyden with Senator Grassley and Gary Peters with the, you know, in my committee,

they wrote a report basically saying our investigation was Russian disinformation.
