these seven pages of very recently declassified documents that really changed the way that we

understand a very pivotal part of American history. Tell us about how this came to be and what

words. This is an outgrowth of work I've been doing really for 30 years. I published a book in

2008 called The Strong Man, John Mitchell and the Secrets of Watergate, which was a biography of

President Nixon's Attorney General, John Mitchell, who had been his law partner and campaign manager,

and who really was the top law enforcement official at a very scary time in American history,

the time of the Black Panthers and the weather underground and domestic bombings and so forth.

And part of the story that I uncovered at that time was something called the Moore-Radford Affair.
