Summary

Tonight’s guest, Jerry Millwood Jr., lives in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, near the South Mountains Mountain Chain, in Western North Carolina. There are a lot of things about the area where Jerry lives that appeal to him. One of the most appealing things to him about living where he does, however, is the presence of Sasquatch there. While it’s true that some people would be ready to pull up stakes and move the moment they found out they had Sasquatch living close to their home, that’s not the case with Jerry. He loves the fact that he might see one at any given time while he’s walking around his property. On tonight’s show, Jerry’s not only going to share some of the sightings and experiences he’s had with them, he’s also going to share some experiences other eyewitnesses have shared with him. 0:00.0	My name is Jerry Millwood, Jr. I'm a resident of western North Carolina in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains near the mountain chain called the South Mountains, plural.
0:12.5	And I live near the town of Kayser, North Carolina, and I live deep in the heart of Sasquatch Country.
0:20.2	I have a lifelong interest in this subject as well as other other paranormal subjects and out of
0:26.1	the ordinary subjects.
0:28.0	I became interested in all this as a child.
0:32.3	1970 something when my grandfather took me to see Legend of Bargy Creek.
0:36.5	And then I got a book when I was 10 years old called Bigfoot by B.
0:39.9	Anne Slate and Allen Berry.
0:41.6	And then I was hooked on the subject for entertainment purposes.
0:46.0	I moved into the foothills, went back to my roots.
0:49.4	A lot of my family came out of Appalachia.
0:53.2	And I began to have experiences. And I begin to talk to many different people over the last five years or so about their experiences.
1:01.9	And I am here to share all of that with you and your listeners today.
1:09.0	My first Sasquatch siding was in August of 2017.
1:15.6	At about 9.30 that night, my wife and I turned onto our dead-end road there near the South Mountains.
1:23.6	And the lights of the vehicle swept a cornfield.
1:30.2	Now, at that time of year, the corn was fully grown.
1:38.8	And we saw this Sasquatch just standing a couple feet outside of the cornfield, looking at us.
1:40.9	At first, it was a big dark silhouette.
1:42.5	Got a little bit closer.
1:44.2	The details came into focus.
1:49.5	And as it registered with me, I put the brakes on on the car.
