What's going on, everybody? Welcome into another episode of the Packaday podcast. I'm your host,

Andy Herman. You can follow me on Twitter at Andy Herman NFL. It's the day that we have all been waiting

0:29.2

for it is officially, finally, Sean Clifford, Deep Dive Day, and I have deprived you long enough.

0:34.3

I know it's something that you've been dying to listen to and dying to watch,

0:42.3

so let's not wait a second longer. Let's jump right into Sean Clifford. Let's start with the basics first per usual. He is a 6-2-218 pound quarterback out of Penn State, a sixth-year senior. And

0:49.2

unlike most of Green Bay's usual draft picks that are 21, 22, maybe 23 years of age, Sean Clifford will turn

experienced college quarterback who maybe could step in and be their backup quarterback right away.

1:20.4

So only time we'll tell if Sean Clifford has the ability to do that, but that's probably

1:24.8

part of their thinking and why they were willing to go with somebody

1:28.1

who's a little bit overaged at the position. A little bit of background info. He was a two-time

1:34.0

high school captain at his high school, one of the few people in high school history to be able to do

1:38.1

that. In addition, he was a four-time captain at Penn State, one of the few to be able to do that

1:43.5

as well. So this is somebody

1:44.9

with great leadership traits and has basically been a captain for almost the entirety, what,

1:49.8

six of the last seven years, I guess I'll say. So that is an impressive stat, just the fact that

1:54.7

he was captain for six of the last seven years. And I'm sure that leadership traits and, you know,
