This episode is pretty straightforward. We're going to start by going through a general overview of hypothermia and discuss the various causes of hypothermia, and then we'll spend the rest of the episode discussing management strategies for your patient with hypothermia.

So hypothermia is defined by a core body temperature less than 35 degrees Celsius.

There specifically are four stages of hypothermia, which include mild, moderate, severe, and profound.

These stages can be defined either by core body temperature or by clinical presentation,

and I prefer the clinical presentation
