story about the trade but also to me what the impact of the trade is for

I'll be doing another private Zoom, not this week, but probably the next week. So let's see what happens in free agency. Actually, it might be a couple weeks because of free agency. It's going to eat up some time here. So, but I'll get you guys

back as soon as I can. So anyways, today I'm joined by my pal, Nikki Javala from the Washington Post,

as we talk about, of course, the Debo Samuel Trade, but also then what is next for Washington? We start by going over a lot of the guys that they

have free agents. Do we think they'll be back? Should they be back? Et cetera. And of course,

one player we didn't get into a whole lot of is John Allen. We talked a little bit about him, I think.

Anyways, but this could be a, this will be a big week for him, see what happens there. You know, I don't know. There's still multiple options that exist with Allen.

I don't know that a team's going to trade for him.

I do know it does sound like there's some contending teams interested in him.

I think the problem here is, I think they probably anticipate that if they don't trade

for him, that he will be released and they can sign him to a lower cost deal.

That is why he was not included in any trade for Debo Samuel.

It was never going to be a player for player swap because the money just wasn't going

to be what the Niners wanted to pay John Allen.
