They said not even two years ago into retirement.

Gene Simmons is already doing old man stuff.

On Tuesday, Gene landed in the hospital when he passed out behind the wheel of his

Lincoln Navigator in Malibu, crossed several lanes of traffic, and hit a parked car.

He was briefly hospitalized, but yesterday he tweeted, quote, Thanks, everybody, for the kind wishes. I'm completely fine. I had a slight fendabenda, it happens, especially to those of us who are horrible drivers, and that's me, all as well. Thank you. I am Gene Simmons. From Kiff. There's no word what happened word what happened but Gene's wife Shannon Tweed said that his doctor had recently

changed his medication Gina 76 he's always been adamant that he doesn't drink

or do drugs well I totally believe that there's no question about that but you are

doing drugs they're just from a doctor yeah could be I mean that's all But his wife said, like, somebody needs to tell him that he doesn't, he should not be driving anymore. So she has sicked, the two kids, Nick, and whatever the daughter's name is, on her dad, on the dad. Right. To try to get him to quit. And it's a very difficult thing to do, man. And I've I've been there a couple times with family members and we're trying to gently persuade someone, my grandfather, not to drive anymore. We successfully did that with my grandmother, no problems, but you never know with granddad. It's like, hell no. Sure. You know, it just wasn't one of those things. Difference is with Gene Simmons. He has the money to get anywhere he needs to be. That is correct. But that's also why the kids might not be getting out of them. There's a lot of money right on this. He says, I had a slight fender bend. It happens. He actually just had a slight fender bender. He crashed into a wall. Yeah. About three months before this. So either way, they do say, month, Kiss is set to perform as

a band for the first time since retiring from touring in 2023

as they reunite with bandmates in Vegas
