Casey Kaslander, who returns for his second year on the show. What's up, Casey? How are we doing today?

I'm doing great. I'm so excited to be back. USC baseball is back on campus. I'm ready to see games on campus for the first time ever as a student, so I'm so stoked. This will be a new

experience for you. College baseball season is about

two weeks away from when we're recording this. I think we'll get it up on Saturday here, but two weeks

away should be a really exciting season. USC is coming off of a regional appearance. The first time

since 2015, first time in a decade, can they build off that? That's what we're going to find out. But Casey, I saw you a few times during the football season, but let the people know what you've been up to since the end of last year's USC baseball season. You're a man that's constantly in action. A man is constantly working. So let the people know what you've been up to.

Yeah, I mean, we crossed past a couple times, you know, broadcast of the USC football games on the road and at home, that was a really fun experience, called some summer ball in the Cal League this past summer as well. So kept my tabs on college baseball the most I could and just trying to be everywhere, whether it be a Clippers game on a random Tuesday or LA Kings game, you know, the day after.

I'm trying to try to be everywhere, whether it be a Clippers game on a random Tuesday or LA King's game, you know, the day after. I'm trying to try to be everywhere just like you shotgun. So trying to stay omnipresent. You don't want to try to do too many things like me. But hey, you're a hard worker. That's a positive thing. A lot of big things happening for you. Similarly, there have been a lot of big things happening for USC baseball this offseason, as well as the construction of the new day-dow field as that continues. The field slayed to be game day ready when the Trojans open the season here in a couple weeks, though the full stadium, all the player coach amenities won't quite be finished yet. What's the latest you've heard or seen over at the new field? I don't know if you've got a chance to get over there this preseason.

Yeah, I've walked over there a few times. You know, I think the sort of memo that's going around is it's a little bit behind. I don't think that's, you know, well-kept secret. But I do think it is progressing well. The field surface is there so they can practice. and the press box still kind of looks like a construction site.
