tables are typically are 28 to 30 inches tall
chair seat typically are 17 to 19 inches tall
light fixtures should be around 30 to 36 inches off the table unless the ceiling is taller than 8 ft.
rug sizes needed
tables that seat 8 usually need a 9x7 ft rug
tables that seat 6 ususally need an 8x10 ft rug
tables that seat 4 usually need a 8x10 or a 6x9 ft rug or an 8 by 8 ft rug
