Today's tip is to deck unexpected halls.

A little holiday cheer in unexpected places can make the season feel more festive.

If you celebrate Christmas in either sacred or secular fashion, you no doubt put up the expected

stuff, a tree in your living room a wreath on the door a few lights on trees

That's all great, but why stop there?

Some whimsical touches in other places at an element of surprise and there are a

great many options. For instance if one tree is good more trees are better. In addition to your focal one where you stuff the

presence, consider putting small ones maybe in your kids rooms. Each kid can

decorate the tree exactly as he or she wishes.

And if you would like to avoid having spruce needles all over the floor,

well, go for artificial trees.
