0:16.4	Let's start with the Reflections.
0:18.2	We just finished our 66 Book of the Bible and the 27th book of the New Testament, which means you've either
0:24.1	finished reading the whole Bible or the whole New Testament.
0:27.0	Congratulations.
0:28.5	So here's a brief summary of what we've seen in the Bible's overall met a narrative.
0:33.0	The Bible is one unified story.
0:34.8	In Genesis, God sets out to build a relationship with one particular family, but things go terribly
0:39.4	wrong when they fracture the relationship through sin.
0:42.0	But their sin doesn't surprise God. He already
0:44.3	had a plan in place to restore this relationship even before it was broken and
0:48.0	he continues working out that plan immediately undeterred and unhindered
0:52.2	by their rebellion.
0:53.8	He sets apart Abraham to be the patriarch of the family he calls the Israelites.
0:57.8	They're a bunch of sinners just like us.
0:59.7	God blesses them despite their sin, but sin still has its consequences.
1:04.0	One of the long storylines of consequences of the 400 years they spent enslaved in Egypt.
1:09.0	God sends Moses to set the Israelites free from slavery.
1:12.1	They flee to the desert where little by little
1:13.8	God gives them the basic rules of how to have a stable society. They're uncivilized
