0:14.2	Let's start with the reflections.
0:16.1	We just finished our 66th Book of the Bible and the 27th Book of the New Testament, which
0:20.9	means you've either finished reading the whole Bible or the whole New Testament.
0:24.9	Congratulations!
0:25.9	So here's a brief summary of what we've seen in the Bible's overall meta-narrative.
0:30.4	The Bible is one unified story.
0:32.2	In Genesis, God sets out to build a relationship with one particular family, but things go terribly
0:36.8	wrong when they fracture the relationship through sin.
0:39.2	But their sin doesn't surprise God.
0:41.2	He already had a plan in place to restore this relationship even before it was broken,
0:45.6	and he continues working out that plan immediately, undeterred and unhindered by their
0:50.0	rebellion.
0:51.2	He sets apart Abraham to be the patriarch of the family he calls the Israelites.
0:55.3	There are a bunch of sinners just like us.
0:57.2	God blesses them despite their sin, but sin still has its consequences.
1:01.4	One of the long storylines of consequences of the 400 years they spent enslaved in Egypt.
1:06.5	God sends Moses to set the Israelites free from slavery.
1:09.5	They flee to the desert where little by little God gives them the basic rules of how to
